Getaway to Koh Samui (Part 1) | Prana Resort & Spa | Hotel Review

Koh Samui is such a blast to visit! It's always a great place to getaway from hustle and bustle of city life to unwind.

I stayed in Prana Resort and Spa, it is located just 15 minutes away from the airport. As we arrived, one of the staff from Prana Resort already waiting for us, with welcoming expression and a friendly smile. The taxi was there ready to send us to the hotel. From airport to hotel, it cost 400 bath.

I booked the hotel at a great rate and it was worth every cent. The hotel is one of the best I've stayed! You feel the atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. Everyone is so genuine and welcoming.

If it is your first time visit to this wonderful place and have no clue where to go, you can speak to the receptionist, they will inform you of the many beauty spots to visit. Besides, if you need a transport for travel, all you need to do is just to let the receptionist know, they will help you arrange all this.

The restaurant in Prana Resort serves vegetarian cuisine. I never try the food so I have no idea about the price and the taste of the food. What I heard from others, the food was absolutely tasty!

The pool area and the cocktail bar made you feel like you never wanted to leave! The restaurant and the bar overlooked the beach and some beautiful sunsets. The flight path that ran a mile down the coast was not intrusive but provided an interesting panorama, espeacially at night.

We stayed in the beachfront room. The room was perfect for what we wanted. It is so lovely to wake up to the sea view.

You can find this little bucket that filled up with water and Plumeria outside every rooms in the resort, even the stairs down to the long stretch beach. The purpose is to clean your feet before you walk in the room or wash away the sands on your feet after strolling on the beach.

I had a lovely massage in the spa on the beach. I can hear the beautiful sound of the ocean and the melody in the wind as my therapy soothe my stress away. This spa offers the perfect location, so peaceful and relaxing!

They have variety of treatments from foot massage to traditional Thai massage, awaits you. I had full body massage, which cost 750 bath. I personally think it is very reasonable due to they provide a tranquil ambience and superb service. It's very worth it!I have a relaxed body and rejuvenated mind after massage, so refreshing! I am so satisfied :)

Happy hour without a doubt was the best time of the day. It starts from 4pm to 7pm when drinks are two for one ( buy 1 free 1) and served with delicious complimentary nibbles made freshly to order.

I really enjoy the drink after an awesome massage.. bliss! :)

I must say that every single staff in Prana Resort was an absolute star! The staffs were always happy to help, which they did with a smile including the saluting security guards. We also always greeted with a friendly face. I felt thoroughly spoiled and it was terrible jolt to have to leave and say goodbye...
