












A world largest religious monument -The temple of Angkor Wat is the number one attraction in Cambodia. It was originally built as a Hindu Temple. Angkor Wat remains crammed with stone reliefs and statues of Vishnu, Ganesh, Shiva, Hanuman and the mystic dancing girls - The Apsaras.It eventually repurposed as a Buddhist temple after the disintegration of the Khmer Empire.

They say don't leave Siem Reap without watching at least one sunset. You can either catch the beautiful view at the popular Phnom Bakheng but very crowded during sunset. Or you can catch sunset at Tonle Sap lake too. Unfortunately, when we were there it rained in the evening.
