Siem Reap, Cambodia (1) : One Stop Hostel

Finally I have some time to get started on this blog post about Cambodia. I missed the chance to visit Cambodia in 2011 and I have to burned my flight ticket :(  So excited that I made it this time! I can't wait to share all the photos, but this post not going to be long one, mainly to recommend the hostel we stayed in. I will share more on the next post.

Remember the night before my flight to Cambodia, I was rushing to handover a project in office till late. I have mixed feelings about early morning flight & lack of sleep.. After all, I only slept 3 hours. My excitement about travel to Cambodia starts when I'm on the way to the airport, I felt butterflies in my stomach. I guess this is how it keep me awake..haha.. 

What a beautiful scenery outside the window! Sunrise.. I'm completely intoxicated by the scene.

Siem Reap is one hour behind Kuala Lumpur, two hours flight from Kuala Lumpur to Siem Reap. We arrived there about 8 in the morning, Siem Reap time. Our friendly tour guide already waiting for us at the arrival hall. He welcomed us with a big smile and handshake. This is our first time got picked up by a tuk-tuk at the airport. Pretty awesome! Once we stepped outside, I immediately feel the heat and started to sweat. It's very hot, the climate was quite different, it's like 3 times hotter than KL.

Then we headed to our hostel to check in. We stayed in One Stop Hostel. This hostel is located almost at the end of Pub Street. It's also very near to the night market and old market which is great as it's within walking distance.

There are 6 bunk beds in our room. It were very comfortable with your own reading light, one power point and a mini mirror for each bunk beds and a big locker to store your stuffs.  The bathroom were simple and clean. There's a nice rooftop area with some chairs, good place for chilling at night. The standard price is $8 per bed.

Not to forget, they serve healthy breakfast with only $2! I had great experience in One Stop Hostel, no complaints at all. I would definitely stay here again!
