Portrait | Rachil

Last few weeks ago, J invited me out to PJ to take some portraits of Rachil. It was perfect timing because I've been wanting to take more portraits. And this is the first time in my life I got warned and forced not to take photo in a private building without request for permission from the management. To respect them, we decided to change venue instead.

A ton of my other photos weren't focused right because (1.) my lens is manual focus, (2.) lack of light in the building and I dislike using flash but I think I should start to learn to use flash (3.) I had to act a lot faster than I normally would compare to when I shoot still life objects/landscape. It's really nice to work with Rachil and Melaine, who is a freelance make-up artist.
