A quick escape away from the hustle bustle city to Sekinchan. I walk around in the fish village and I really like seeing those traditional wood house, remind me of I used to stay in a wood house with my grandparents. I spent most of my childhood with them and I love running around in front yard, chasing chickens or picking flowers and leaves. The most profound memory was seeing my grandparents building their own bath room, mainly just use their hands. Impressive. We are poor but we are happy and content. Sadly, the wood house was demolished after my grandparents passed away.
I headed to the paddy field after exploring the village. Think I came at the wrong timing where the paddy plant has harvested. Yet, the spacious, large, wide paddy field still remain its beauty. It's so quiet and peaceful, I can only hear my breath and the birds sing. The weather was good. I am so in love with the greens and the blue sky, indescribably beautiful. Two things I lack of to fully complete this trip are - a bottle of wine and a bench chair. Sitting down there, enjoying a glass of red wine while enjoying this pretty scenery that surrounded you is a bliss! I so gonna do that if I visit once again. :)
Location: Sekinchan, Kuala Selangor.
You said you'd meet me on the sunny road
It's time, meet me on the sunny road
Will you still meet me on the sunny road
Will you still meet me on the sunny road
