Bako National Park, Sarawak.

If  it is the first time you are in Kuching and you like adventure & nature. I would suggest you to pay a visit to Bako National Park. It took us approximately 45 minutes from Kuching to Bako village. Then, continue a 30 minute boat ride to the Park. Boats can be chartered at the terminal and they are operated by the villagers.

Back to those days when transportation in Malaysia just started to develop, boats are limited. You have to actually stay over night in the park.The boat will only come the next day. Nowadays, the boat comes frequently, you need not worry or wait till the next day to get back. You still can stay over night in the park though, if you want to.
